Château de Stony, Muscat de Frontignan 2022

Run by the Nodet family for five generations, Château de Stony is a small estate in Languedoc's Frontignan appellation, specialising in Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains. Nestled on limestone-rich, stony soils (hence the name!), they age the vines for concentrated fruit and focus on aromatic purity. The estate employs traditional methods tailored to this unique terroir, producing naturally sweet, perfumed wines emblematic of the region. Golden and richly aromatic, this Muscat dazzles with heady scents of honeysuckle, orange marmalade, ripe apricot, and peach. Smooth and indulgent on the palate, it melds luscious stone fruit and honeyed citrus, all framed by a crisp mineral backbone. The finish is long, floral, and elegantly sweet; lively yet refined, ideal with blue cheese or light desserts.
